Keeping it open, simple and modern, the idea was to make it a home that stands the test of time and have a good sense of fluidity between all rooms. Having a senior citizen residing all alone for extended periods meant the design detail had to necessarily consist of round or chamfered edges so that there is no chance of accidental injury in any case Given the extra space, we decided to convert one of the bedrooms to a simple cozy study room. Full length wardrobes in all the bedrooms were put in place to ensure max volume of storage space without disturbing the aesthetics. The sitting room had a minimalist design scheme with minor elements of South Indian traditional design embedded within it.
